Abstract
A research seminar on the topic emotions in the context of pupils and schooling. It affirms the importance of this being a priority for the teacher, producing better balanced and motivated pupils who will achieve more. The emphasis is on breaking the vicious spiral of negativity by being totally positive in all aspects of teaching, learning and school management, valuing the pupil voice, and empowering pupils to social action.
