Abstract
Once grassroots women's football clubs were given clearance to resume activities, the leagues were less forgiving. When team members were depleted due to Covid positive testing post-lockdown, some League committees were fining clubs with point deductions. In other similar level leagues, this was not happening and the process seemed entirely unfair. This article explores the knock-on effects to players and clubs for this treatment.
