Abstract

Building movement confidence is an enabling process to increased activity competency. In order to address these mutual contributors towards overall movement efficacy, the core means of the self has been used to help determine positive awareness of how to embark on a journey towards feeling and being able to undertake physical activity.

This presentation addresses potential barriers, solutions and collaborative community practices determined to underpin active healthy living.
Part 1: Identifying issues and barriers for building movement competence and confidence
Part 2: Solution to issues and barriers - using own body
Part 3: Applying solution to own communities of practicing healthy active living
