Sue qualified as a children’s nurse in 2001, working with children and families with complex and challenging health care needs in a variety of roles across the NHS. Sue became a Senior Lecturer in 2009 and joined the University of Worcester in 2017. Sue has co-authored the Experiencing Sensory Overload Project (ESOP) with Kirsty Wedgbury which aims to encourage healthcare professionals in all settings to consider their working environments and to provide sensorily safe spaces for individuals with a range of neurodivergent diagnosis
