Make the most of your Signature Strengths in a Team Setting

Looking to stoic philosophical readings, four cardinal virtues made for a framework for a balanced life (Carr, 1988). Individuals' cherished strengths could be viewed as the architecture of self efficacy, providing onward focused alignment. In this intervention, perceived naturally occurring capabilities were shared by participants where these talents made for a platform from for the identification of key strengths and the skill-oriented behaviours they influenced.

Where interest and engagement have been shown to increase through enriched appreciation of one's strengths (Moore et al 2022), the Clifton Strengths Assessment was shared as a warm-up for thinking on what candidates have found they can contribute and perform well in. Set challenges were designed to explore the anticipated strengths in action, and provide a vehicle for activity reflection. A range of congruent theoretical models were used in the construction and delivery of the workshop including facilitation methods, Emotional Intelligence, and associated scholarly sources addressing collaborative culture and team effectiveness. A showcase for the evolving teamwork of workshop participants was created where participants demonstrated their valuable capabilities and readiness for further development.
