Abstract

The Children’s Alliance Working Groups - A Passion for Change for our Children

As a progression from the Children's Alliance and Worcester Business School's Inaugural Conference(2023), working groups were established to bring focused attention to the named areas:- The Early Years, Food & Nutrition, Emotional Health; Physical Activity; & Mental Wellbeing.

The shared aim of the respective Working Groups is:-
To improve the health and well-being of babies, children and young people across the UK.

Energies are directed towards making policy/on the ground change at national, regional and local levels that will propagate positive adjustments to the lives of children, young people, their families and importantly, also the professionals supporting them.

To do this The Early Years, Food & Nutrition, Emotional Health, Physical Activity and Mental Wellbeing are targeted to better implement collective expertise/resources to achieve evidence based change for children while utilising available resources of time and funds.

The Policy Recommendations have been shared here. Dr Pamela Murray is a Working Group Co Chair and Recommendation Contributor.
