This article is a companion piece to the work reported by Aaron Smith and colleagues in the January/February 2024 issue of JDC (Smith et al 2024). While the earlier work focused on the use of a new life story platform on a hospital ward, here Jennifer Bray, Shirley Evans, Natasha Lord and Sheena Payne consider engagement with the life story platform and a related heritage-based resource
