Abstract

The Physical Activity Network for the West Midlands (PAN-WM) was established in 2005 following an initial consultation process for the Regional Plan for Sport and a mapping exercise of Physical Activity interventions in the West Midlands in late 2003, early 2004. The Network was founded to support the physical activity agenda in the West Midlands as a region wide, sustainable and independent organisation. This report outlines an independent evaluation of PAN-WM, conducted by University of Worcester, commissioned by PAN-WM. The aims of the evaluation were to assess the performance of PAN-WM over the past 3 years, to establish its successes, areas for improvement and identification of member's future needs.
