Biography:

Naomi is a lecturer in Psychology. She obtained her BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Bath in 2018 and PhD in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen in 2023. Her PhD was funded by the Leverhulme Trust and examined how biases towards the self are influenced by emotions and rewards. Naomi’s research focuses on understanding social cognition, emotion, mental health disorders and the relationship between these areas. She is currently examining these areas through collaborative projects with colleagues in the UK and internationally and has published numerous journal articles in these fields.
