The article discusses strategies to strengthen palliative care during the COVID-19 pandemic in Great Britain. Topics covered include a need to address the disparities in the risk of COVID-19 among people from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, and the role of scientists and the government in educating staff and the public on new understandings about the coronavirus.
