Abstract

The article discusses the concept of social prescribing and its role in combating loneliness. Topics mentioned include a loneliness strategy developed in Great Britain to help eligible people access support and resources to ameliorate their situation, the role of social media in tackling loneliness, and the distinction between being alone and being lonely.
