The GW4 Crucible programme provides hands-on training and mentoring to develop collaborative research leaders of the future. The Crucible 2019 programme consisted of three residential, 2-day workshops known as 'labs' which included interactive talks and activities.

Lab 1 took place in February 2019 in Bath. Lab 2 took place in March 2019 in Exeter. Lab 3 took place in May 2019 in Cardiff.
