Abstract

The article discusses the author's views about the experience of dying in 2018, and it mentions how people can plan and prepare for death by acknowledging that death may occur without notice. Advice about achieving a dignified death is provided, along with information about open and honest communication, advance care planning, and a person's preferences about dying at home or in hospice care. Palliative care is assessed, along with nurse-patient relations.
