Abstract

The article focuses on the apparent inherent failures in always providing high-quality care to dying patients, citing the various ways to offer better palliative care. It discusses three of the six key aspirations outlined in the report "Ambitions for Palliative and End of Life Care" that are fundamental to improving palliative and end-of-life care provision including community preparedness to help, staff preparedness to care, and fair access to care.
