The article discusses the concept of partnership in the delivery of good palliative care and its benefits which include enhanced quality of life for the patient. Other benefits of working in partnership in palliative care include care and support by different professionals with the patient remaining in his home and less stress for palliative care professionals. It notes the challenges of working in partnership due to different ethos and approaches with regard to palliative care.
