This evidence is submitted by Nicola Stobbs, Samantha Sutton-Tsang and Kate Collier from the University of Worcester and Play Worcester as part of the call for evidence for the inquiry into ‘The experiences of children and young people of their built environment’. In particular it addresses the terms:
-How do children and young people experience outdoor spaces in towns, cities and rural areas across the country? For example, their streets, estates, villages, neighbourhoods and parks?
- How do these experiences vary across gender and age?
