Abstract
• Introduces internet use as an environmental concern for psychology to explore.
• This concern becomes more relevant as internet use increases (particularly AI).
• Currently neglected, possibly due to opaque costs and lack of public awareness.
• Areas and opportunities for environmental psychological research are introduced.
