Abstract
The series of four programmes was awarded best Factual Entertainment at the Celtic Media Festival and Silver medalist documentary at the New York Film Festivals (2018).
'Hen Blant Bach' or 'Care Share' is topical, socially responsible television; with an ageing population and the rising cost of childcare, how should we care for those most vulnerable? It's positive, uplifting and transformative. It changes people’s lives. Honest and heartfelt, viewers can’t help but feel moved and emotionally invested. There's plenty of humour, as young and old come out of their shells, relationships develop and personalities shine. It highlights how much the two groups have in common and how they can benefit from each other.
