Abstract:

This presentation discusses research examining one-to-one peer mentoring within the voluntary women's sector in England. This practice helps to build a sense of longer term inclusion amongst women who share lived experience. It empowers them to take collective action to address the systematic issues of inequality and challenge affecting their lives. A model of feminist ethical practice is presented today as a result of the voice and experience of women engaged in one-to-one peer mentoring.
