Training Outcomes: Training participants will gain an enhanced understanding of the prevalence and extent of the harm connected to domestic violence.
Training participants will understand the importance of perpetrator programmes for reducing risk of violence and its repetition, as well as its place within the coordinated community response to domestic violence
Training participants will be able to identify the necessary resources and expertise required to set up a perpetrator programme.
Training participants will be able to identify what ‘success’ is when evaluating perpetrator programmes and the importance of post programme follow-up.
Training participants will understand the theory, structure and key elements of a typical community-based perpetrator programme.
Training participants will be able to initiate partnerships of stakeholders in a community to set up a perpetrator programme.
