I am a Redox Biochemist with specialism in Immunology and Haematology. My research primarily focuses on a type of blood cancer known as Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). My research has helped gain understating of how AML cells escape immune attack. I also have interest in clinical medicine, and through collaboration with the Cardiology Department at the Worcester Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, my work has identified new blood biomarkers that are associated with increased risk of heart attack.
