Abstract

The article discusses the concept of suffering in palliative care in Great Britain. Also cited are the different perspectives on suffering by healthcare professionals like doctors, nurses and psychotherapists, the diverse approaches or strategies to manage or prevent suffering, as well as the dilemmas they faced on the issue of postponing death of patients in palliative care.
