Abstract

Performance Lecture.
‘Thickness on Paper/ draft one’ presented at the Centre Pompidou's Nouveau Festival a platform for expression and production: a laboratory for new forms of creation. Taking as it’s starting point a Billiards and Snooker instruction manual published in 1957 by Richard Holt this ‘work in progress’ presentation will sit somewhere between a lecture, an instructional video and a ‘live’ moment of studio practice that will set the piece as an instigational proposition akin to the moment of ball-contact itself.
