Abstract

Ideas to use with pupils aged 11-16 years demonstrated by University of Worcester PGCE Science trainees and a Science teacher. Demonstrations included Gummi bears osmosis; 'dragon's breath' flame tests; squid dissection; magic wand and static electricity; balloon hovercrafts; working wind turbines that can be made in the classroom; mini-motors; egg-dropping amniotic sac models and many more.
